Shading and fillrate power are key determinants of 3DMark05 performance. Even though it's a synthetic benchmark, results obtained here are often indicative of D3D performance in general. As expected, then, GeForce 6800 Ultra and RADEON X850 XT PE battle it out for top spot. GeCube's card does well against NVIDIA's GeForce 6800 GT 256MB card, just as it needs to.
Cranking up the quality by invoking 4x AntiAliasing and 8x Anisotropic Filtering now. Here we see X800 XL and 6800 GT cards perform in almost identical fashion. So far so good.
