The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
The tables are turned in Gears of War 4, where the 18-month-old GTX 1080 Ti performs better than the RTX 2080. There isn't a great deal in it, and the latter offers newer tech, but we wouldn't begrudge anyone trying to pick up a GTX 1080 Ti on the cheap.
