It is always worth taking a moment to consider how much performance you actually need. Cards such as the RTX 2080 are overkill at full-HD, and though Forza Motorsport 7 is a beautiful game, even a GTX 1080 delivers smooth gameplay at a lush 4K UHD resolution.
