The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has previously shown it is possible to get 4K60 performance. Move it on more than a year and RTX 2080 fails to match it. Viewed in that light, £800 feels mighty steep.
