3DMark05

Starting off with trusty 3DMark05. GeForce cards were run with the SM3.0 path and ATI's with SM2.0b. It's pretty much as one would expect, with results dropping with increases in resolution and, consequently, pixel count.

3DMark05 reports an out-of-memory error when running cards equipped with 128MB of onboard memory at 1600x1200 4xAA 8xAF. This is exactly the kind of instance when 256MB of onboard memory, as specced on the RADEON X700 PRO, comes into play. That's why the highest setting is run with 2xAA and 4xAF. It's fair to say that PNY's Verto 6600 AGP 128MB card isn't smooth at any resolution with high image enhancement, as expected.
