Company Of Heroes: Opposing Fronts

We've benchmarked Company Of Heroes: Opposing Fronts with both the DX9 and DX10 codepaths, using maximum image-quality settings.

The two GeForce 8800 GTs have a commanding lead at 1680x1050. Every card produces smooth frame rates, though.

Dialling up the resolution and we see that all cards keep performance parity, albeit with the ASUS GeForce 8800 GTS 320 struggling somewhat with the additional pixel load.

DX10

The bars are roughly the same size with DX10 but just take a look at the frame rate. Here, there's a tangible games-playing difference between the performance exhibited by the Inno3D GeForce 8800 Overclock and both the 8800 GTS 320 and HD 3870 cards.

The games-playing experience isn't great on any card at 1920x1200.
