Benchmarks: System
Increasing performance by making liberal use of OpenCL, the A8-7600 matches what's on offer from the competition. It's nearly as fast as the A10-6800K, too.
The very latest version of SiSoft Sandra examines almost every facet of system performance, with 12 separate benchmarks aggregated to provide a final score. CPU and GPU improvements are in evidence for Kaveri - the slowest configuration is better than the 100W Richland.
There's a good reason why AMD advances 3DMark as the graphics benchmark of choice when cross-comparing integrated GPUs. The GCN architecture is fully able to stretch its muscles, so much so that the 384-core part in the A8-7600 is almost twice the speed of the A8-6500T and Core i3-4330T's and 20 per cent faster than the previous top-of-the-range graphics imbued in the A10-6800K. But can they retain their promise in real games?
