CINEBENCH 2003 has a new desktop champion in the form of the Pentium Extreme Edition 965. Dual cores and a high clock speed give it enough oomph to overcome the devil in disguise, AMD's FX-60. Note how the '965 knocks seven bells out of the single-core 3.73GHz Extreme Edition.
The Kribi software rendering engine shows the '965 in a positive light, too.
