Power-draw
Extra voltage required to drive the Core i3 530 chip, power increase from the clock-speed, and disabling of the SpeedStep technology in the BIOS combine to push system-wide power-draw to the second-highest figure.
2D load is defined by running the wPrime benchmark and noting the peak draw. The overclocked chip fits inside the power envelope of a stock-clocked Core i5 750.
