Why do we see such huge gains in the Sysbench test? Interesting question, and it appears to be a combination of compiler optimisations and just how well that application plays with the latest Zen 3 architecture.
Which brings us on to another point about server benchmarking. Overall performance is a far more a product of how well-tuned the processor architecture is for a particular workload than on the client Ryzen side.
