Power Tests
Intel tends to play somewhat fast and loose with quoted TDPs. Cranking up the all-core frequency, even with the new under-the-hood improvements, leads to the highest Intel power draw we have witnessed. Still, it's better than premium Ryzen Threadripper.
The Noctua NH-D15S air cooler was able to keep the chip at below 75°C during long-term stress test, and we saw no evidence of throttling during our benchmarking session.
