Remember that the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX is using DLM to push the most taxing threads on to the CPU cores directly connected to system memory. Bandwidth and latency are therefore both excellent.

We're surprised the 2920X is shown to be so comparatively poor in the latency stakes, because its cores are directly connected to system memory by default.
