Benchmarks I

I'll warn you now, these graphs aren't going to be the most interesting you've ever seen. They simply show a performance increase from 3.2GHz to 3.825GHz using the Extreme Edition processor, showing off performance under the VapoChill XE. If you want to see a comparison with other processors, Tarinder's discrete article on the CPU itself is a good place to look. I'll limit commentary to what's essential and let the graphs do the talking.

HEXUS SETI Benchmark

15% extra performance from the 20% CPU clock increase, SETI loves the extra cache on the Extreme Edition too. If I'm not mistaken, that's the fastest HEXUS SETI benchmark unit ever processed

HEXUS Pifast Benchmark

Another 15% increase. Can you spot a trend? Pifast loves the clock speed here, running the fastest Pifast time we've yet seen at HEXUS.

ScienceMark 2.0 Primordia Benchmark

17% this time, close to linear scaling with the CPU clock speed. The difference accountable by the memory controller, versus the CPU clock increase, is down to running the memory asynchronously. Very very fast again, the quickest SM2.0 Primordia run yet seen at HEXUS, beating even the Athlon FX-51.

RealStorm Raytracer Benchmark
LAME 3.92MMX Benchmark

On to the graphical benchmarks.
