It's with an overclocked chip that these high-end coolers make sense, but the performance of the Enermax ELC240 has dropped off slightly. It's still one of the best in the line up, but with our Core i7-3770K running flat out across all cores at 4.4GHz, the ELC240 wasn't able to cool as efficiently as Corsair's Hydro Series H100 or indeed some of the air-cooled competitors.
