Introduction

Yup, I'm new. How'd you guess? This is my first article for hexus.com, and with any luck, the first of many. If you think I OC/ed this Celeron, you wait for my K6-2 article! Oh, and before you all notice I work at a computer store part-time, it is not my intention to plug, sell or even mention their stuff on these WebPages, cos that just aint cricket.

Celeron 400 CPU (Socket 370 PPGA)
PC-Chips (ALi Pro-2) Motherboard, later Elite VIA Apollo133 (non-A) - (Both have Socket 370 *and* Slot 1 connectors on board)
64Mb PC100 SDRAM (8ns)
Seagate 8.4Gb UDMA/33 Hard Drive
On-board Sound (both have C-Media 8738AM chips)
CL Savage4 32Mb AGP (both use 1x mode)
Realtek 8029 PCI NIC
2x DVD-ROM, LS-120, yada yada

AMD K6-2 CPU (350, then 500)
Iwill XA-100+ Motherboard (ALi V)
Seagate 4.3Gb UDMA/33 Hard Drive
2x 32Mb PC100 SDRAM (8ns)
CL DXR3 & 6x DVD-ROM
CL Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold
