Internal Appearance
Removing the side panels is easy enough, as NZXT only fits one thumbscrew as standard with the others concealed in the accessories bag. So screw removed, lift the panel towards you from the back and it comes clean out.
It’s a standard-looking chassis inside, although you do get the impression there isn’t as much room inside as the voluminous dimensions of the Zero indicate.
The chassis itself mounts the hardware in the usual orientation but it's pretty low down, with the bottom edge of the board just, and we mean just, situated off the chassis floor.
The two 120mm fans on the back panel feature molex connectors, as do the four on the side panel, and the two sets are wired such that you shouldn’t run out of native connectors on your PSU.
Down the bottom we have the breakout plates for the usual array of add-in cards. The system uses a simple latch mechanism that works well and it managed to keep our dual-slot graphics-card nicely held in place.
