Performance
A whole lot of mesh and dual front intakes clearly makes a difference. Sure, the Graphite Series 230T was admittedly tested on a cool autumn day, but nonetheless, it proved adept at maintaining low CPU temperature during a Prime95 stress test. Cooling performance has certainly been improved when compared to the Carbide Series 200R.
GPU temperature is healthy, too. Front-to-back airflow is evidently working as intended, and for a budget sub-£70 chassis, the Graphite Series 230T offers very decent out-the-box cooling performance.
A large amount of mesh does bring disadvantages to the table, however. In addition to dust getting in, there's always the issue of noise getting out. Our under-load reading is actually pretty good - that's testament to Corsair's fans, the chassis' ability to cool without having to hit top speeds and of course the lower ambient temperature - but it's the idle reading that's slightly higher than we'd like.
