Benchmark: GPU Temperature
We see sub-optimal performance in GPU cooling, too, and we suspect hard-disk temperatures will suffer a similar fate. Instead of pushing air directly over the storage bays, Corsair's default fan configuration is designed to pull air across any installed hard drives.
Intimating that this could be a faux pas on the manufacturer's part, Corsair has told us that the chassis should perform better with the default 120mm intakes moved from the back of the storage cages to the front. And, as we're about to find out, it does make a difference.
