Performance

On a full-tower chassis as ambitious as this our customary test hardware can be deemed inadequate; we don't envision many 7000D owners opting for a mere 240mm liquid cooler. Still, the airflow-optimised nature of the chassis is such that CPU cooling performance is top-notch even in the default configuration.

Our ageing Sapphire Radeon RX 580 runs hot in most enclosures, particularly on a warm summer day.

Said graphics card can be quite vocal, too. As an airflow-optimised case, Corsair's 7000D makes little attempt to dampen noise, so you'll want to choose your components carefully. Putting together a much quieter build shouldn't be too difficult - many fans operating at ultra-low speeds ought to work well.
