Accessorising your netbook might just be the in thing to do. We've already seen the world's most compact DVD writer from Pioneer, and now we've an ultra-thin mouse that could be the perfect accompaniment for users struggling with a netbook's minuscule touch pad.

It's called the MoGo Mouse for Netbooks, and it's the latest addition to Newton Peripherals' line of MoGo mice. Traditionally, these ultra-thin pointers have slotted into a notebook's PCMCIA slot - with no such slot on most netbooks, the latest MoGo mouse is bundled with a low-profile removable docking connector and a charging cable.

The mouse itself operates at 800 DPI, connected via Bluetooth 2.0, and measures 78mm x 54mm x 5mm. Yes, it's just 5mm thick, and it weighs only 14g. We wouldn't count on it scoring high in terms of ergonomics, but it sure is small, and it'll run for up to 10 hours from a 30-minute charge.

The entire MoGo Mouse for Netbooks kit - including the mouse, removable dock and a charging cable - is priced at $99.
