AMD Processors

AMD's new socket (Socket 939) and the associated processor launches moved from Q1 to the current quarter, Q2. Here's what's being launched in Q2.

Summary

The new socket appears in May, bringing with it the new processors outlined above. As far as Q2 goes for AMD, all the action surrounds the socket change and chipset support from partners. We've seen NVIDIA's nForce3 250 Pro already, we wait for chipsets from VIA and SiS now.
