Remember Intel's monstrous dual-CPU Skulltrail motherboard? It now goes by the less exciting name of D5400XS, and CoolIT systems is hoping that a small percentage of users are actually using it.

For that small percentage, CoolIT has today announced its "ST" line of liquid cooling solutions, consisting of the Boreas MTEC Chassis ST and PURE ST.

The Boreas MTEC Chassis ST, pictured below, is a combination of CoolIT's MTEC technology and Silverstone's TJO7 chassis.

If a Silverstone chassis just isn't bling enough for your Skulltrail setup, CoolIT also offers its PURE ST - a liquid cooling solution that'll fit any chassis with a 120mm fan mount.

Both solutions are said to aggressively cool the dual-CPUs and chipset, with near-silent operation. The Boreas MTEC Chassis ST and PURE ST will soon be available from online etailers with prices expected to be $899 and $269 respectively.

Geoff Lyon, CEO of CoolIT Systems, said:

"CoolIT’s new ST lineup will enable PC Enthusiasts to fully maximise the performance of Intel’s new Skull Trail platform technology. We’ve worked closely with Intel to develop this customised Skull Trail liquid cooling solution and the end result will excite PC Enthusiasts and Gamers world-wide."

We're sure it does a grand job of keeping Skulltrail systems cool, but we've got to ask, who here has a system with a D5400XS motherboard? Anyone?
