SAN DIEGO—June 1st, 2007—DivX, Inc. (NASDAQ: DIVX) today announced the release of DivX for Mac 6.7. This latest version of DivX software for the Macintosh platform is available for download at www.divx.com/divx/mac.

The new version of the DivX for Mac software bundle includes:

DivX Player 2.0

Free, full-screen playback of DivX Video
Now Universal Binary
Support for playback of DivX VOD movies
French, German and Japanese versions

DivX Codec 6.6

Up to 12% faster decoding for smoother playback
Over 10% faster encoding in "Insane" mode
Up to 7% better compression for HD capture in "Fastest" mode

DivX Converter 1.2

Updated to use DivX Codec 6.6

DivX Web Player 1.3.1

With this release, Mac users can now, for the first time, play back protected, DivX-formatted, VOD content on their Apple computers. Users can also take advantage of the performance gains provided by Universal Binaries across all the applications in the DivX for Mac bundle.

Those who download the DivX for Mac bundle can use the DivX Codec, either as a plug-in for Quicktime or with the stand-alone DivX Converter software, to encode video into the DivX format, which will ensure playback of their files on the over 90 million DivX Certified DVD players, portable media players, and other devices available from global retailers. All DivX-formatted video files can be uploaded seamlessly to DivX Stage6, a high-quality platform for the distribution of content in formats ranging from mobile resolutions to high-definition.

The full version of DivX for Mac 6.7 is available for download on DivX.com for $19.99 USD. There is also a free version available that includes a 15-day trial of the DivX Converter and a 6-month trial of DivX Codec for Mac with Pro features. The ability to play back DivX videos does not expire at any time.
