Pixelan releases new, affordable CreativEase with industry-first video effects

Prices as low as $39; full collection just $129 as introductory offer

Bellingham, WA, March 21, 2006 – Pixelan Software LLC, celebrating its 10-year anniversary as a popular provider of video effect plug-ins, released today its all-new CreativEase collection of video effects. Eleven plug-ins provide customizable, easy-to-use tools to solve everyday video editing issues and to produce fresh industry-first visual effects.

Individual plug-in Packs are as low as $39, and the entire CreativEase collection has a limited-time introductory price of $129. A $229 ULTRA Bundle includes all CreativEase effects plus Pixelan’s popular SpiceMASTER 2.5 PRO plug-in. The products are available from Pixelan’s web site and from national resellers such as Toolfarm.com.

This initial release is for users of Adobe Premiere 6, Premiere Pro, and Premiere Elements as well as for Sony Vegas and Vegas Movie Studio. Soon addition versions will be released for Adobe After Effects, Avid (AVX models), Avid Liquid, and Avid Studio, plus Ulead MediaStudio Pro and Ulead VideoStudio.

CreativEase plug-ins are PosterWise, ChromaWarp 2, OrganiBlur, BlurPro, RiseShine, FlowTexture 2, GrainPlus 2, SpatterFlex, StepMotion 2, StepTime 2, and CleanCrop. They are organized into five Packs for color, blur, depth, grain, and time-based effects. Hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of useful pre-made effect settings are included with each plug-in. Yet all of the effects are completely customizable using the intuitive CreativEase interface. All are designed as “best-of-breed” tools despite their affordable price.
