High Availability Enterprise solution now certified for ZFS-based Software Defined Storage environments
Atlanta, Georgia; October 13, 2017: – Open-E, a leading developer of innovative data storage software today announced the successful certification of the ES-8700CLB2U system of Platinum Partner EUROstor with their product JovianDSS.
Open-E JovianDSS delivers Software Defined Storage which results in a variety of different hardware requirements. To ensure compatibility and reliable storage environments, many partners offer storage systems that have been tested, benchmarked and certified by Open-E.
EUROstor’s ES-8700CLB2U is a 2U 24-SFF Bay Cluster-in-a-Box solution that offers High Availability in an active-active configuration. Combined with Open-E JovianDSS data storage software it is the perfect solution for mission-critical, enterprise-level storage applications. The server comes with two Intel® S2600TP Server Boards, each supporting dual Intel® Xeon® processors of the E5-2600 family.

- Support for hot-swappable controller nodes and storage drives
- Two compute nodes, Active-Active configuration, each supporting two Intel® Xeon® Processors E5-2600 Product Family and up to 512GB of DDR4 memory

- Built-in LSI SAS3x36R SAS expander per node
