Power, Temp, Noise, Overclocking

It's worth having a quick peek into the cards' non-gaming credentials as they pertain to power, temperature and noise.

All cards are rated at a nominal 120W TDP. Like before, GTX 1060 and GTX 1660 get closest to it.

Gigabyte's cooler makes short work of ensuring the GPU is cool. That said, we reckon the company can relax the fan profile somewhat - allow temperature to go 10 degrees higher, for example - for a quieter noise profile.

Overclocking

Using the scanner tool, we increased in-game frequency to 2,020MHz core and 9,000MHz memory. Overclocked results generally mirrored those of the EVGA we have tested before. 3DMark Time Spy rose from 5,886 to 6,178. Far Cry 5 QHD from 57/50fps to 60/53, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider from 45/38 to 48/40.
