Test setup
Demonstrating Harpertown was a last-minute decision, apparently.
Can you tell why? Both systems were outfitted with Microsoft Windows SP1 32-bit. Now, there's a whole lot more system RAM than 4GiB, but, alas, 32-bit XP sees even less, due to memory reserved for addressing. In fact, there's barely 3GiB on tap, hardly enough to let the Harpertown processors flex their 45nm muscles.
Lots of cores, and they be Harpertowns on Seaburg.
