Anodisation of panels
Round the back of the larger factory building we were shown what looked like a series of aquariums you'd see at a local garden centre.
However, no fish or plants were in sight - these are actually vats full of various chemicals, the first holding acid.
These vats together perform the job of cleaning and degreasing the panels and also carry out anodisation and sealing. If the panel's final colour isn't to be silver, they're also used for dyeing the metal.
The picture above shows some newly-pressed motherboard trays awaiting treatment. The one below is of a vat of black coloured dye used on a large number of Cooler Master cases.
