HEXUS.gaming will be bringing you a full review of Chromehounds on the Xbox 360 shortly, but whether we'll be able to provide details on the online aspect of the gameplay is currently unknown.
Whilst attempting to connect to online matches, many gamers have been greeted with the dreaded words 'the Chromehounds server is currently unavailable'.
Thankfully, Sega have jumped straight on the problem and issued the following statement:
We are currently experiencing some issues with the online component of Chromehounds. We have discovered that there is an artifical limit on the number of players that are able to play online at any one time. SEGA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to assure you that we are working to correct this issue. We have already carried out two rounds of server maintenance and greatly increased the number of players that can play online. At this time we are working with Microsoft and hope to increase this number even further during the scheduled server maintenance on Tuesday 11th July.
So, as from tomorrow, you should hopefully be able to play the mech-combat title to its full potential.
