Audio/Concusion

Despite the hordes of animations on screen at any one time we experienced no frame-rate issues, even whilst we used an SMG to take down a few dozen of the scavenging beasts.

The audio aspect of Dead Rising could have been better. Whilst the sound of the weapons hitting zombie flesh sound as real as we could possibly imagine, the voice actors must have spent far too much time at drama school; it's over the top acting Hollywood style.

If repetitive zombie killing is your cup of tea then you'll have a blast playing Dead Rising. Whilst some people will become bored with the relentless attacks, we feel that the variety of weapons and the pace of the game help to make Dead Rising an extremely entertaining button-bashing venture into the world of the undead.
