A gnat's chuff away from catching up.
According to reports from videogame data gatherer, VG Chartz, Nintendo are barely a cat's whisker away from catching up Microsoft in terms of global sales of Wii.Despite the huge gap between the launch dates of Xbox 360 and Wii, the website are reporting that Xbox 360 has currently sold 10.32M world-wide, with Nintendo's Wii selling 10.10M units, proving that casual games, plus the innovative Wii-mote are proving to be a bigger hit worldwide than hardcore gaming on the Xbox 360.
Microsoft are planning to improve on recent sales with a new range of IP aimed at attracting the casual gamer.
