The Xbox 360 marketplace is evolving. We can already downloads music videos from the 'Artist of the Month', trailers and demos for new games and films, but now it looks as though NBC will be the first company to advertise their TV show on the console.

Battlestar Gallactica is due to launch into its third series in October and NBC have compiled a special short film entitled, 'The Story So Far.'

According to the official OXM website it's unclear as to whether we'll be charged for the priviledge of viewing the preview, or whether it will be completely free.

Could this move open the floodgates for other companies to offer complete episodes for download?

A date for the short film's appearance on Xbox 360 has not yet been decided.
