Following on from the March Stimulus Package, Call of Duty publisher Activision has today announced that a second map pack will be made available next month.
Dubbed the Resurgence Pack, the upcoming DLC will include five new maps and will launch exclusively to Xbox 360 gamers on June 3rd.
Neither Activision or game developer Infinity Ward are sharing any further details, but given the success of the existing Stimulus Package, we'd expect the Resurgence Pack to follow a similar trend. Don't be surprised to see an asking price of 1,200 Microsoft Points, and the "resurgence" branding suggests we'll see more maps ported from the first Modern Warfare title, Call of Duty 4.
To coincide with the launch of the DLC, Infinity Ward will be hosting back-to-back Double XP weekends beginning Friday, May 28th and Friday, June 4th.
There's currently no mention of availability on other platforms, but if history repeats itself, PC and PlayStation 3 gamers may be waiting until July to get their hands on the latest installment.
