Modern Warfare has today become the first game in the Call of Duty series to have an 18 rating slapped onto it, accompanied by the warning "contains strong bloody violence."

The British Board of Film Classification has confirmed that no cuts have been made from the final submitted version of Modern Warfare 2, which will hit shops on November 10th.

Developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are hoping that Modern Warfare 2 will be as popular as the previous Call of Duty games, but its 18 rating may deter some parents from buying it for their kids this Christmas. Still, there's always eBay.

have sadly had to cancel my preorder for this due to lack of funding :(
The rumored ‘no dedicated servers’ on the PC (see here) is more likely to dent its sales…

thats partly why i decided it was the game to cut back and not get.
The only news we want to hear about MW2 is dedicated servers coming back.

Which is the only thing they can do to dig themselves out of their current deeeeep hole.
