Capcom has revealed that its latest game, which has been showcased via a video on the Xbox live marketplace, will be Lost Planet 2, the sequel to the sci-fi action shooter of 2007.

The snow-capped environment of the original has been scrapped for the second game in the series, which will now be set across a lush jungle location set 10 years after Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions. The developer notes that they'll be some major changes in the gameplay, but aside from revealing that they'll be a four player co-op mode, didn't elaborate.

Mechs make a return, but it looks as though more than one person will be able to fit into the same suit this time around, and there appears to be a new cover system that will feature movable cover.
