March is the date to pencil in your diary for the release of Resident Evil 5 on Xbox 360 and PS3, which Capcom claims will revolutionise the popular franchise.

Any word on the recent japanese demo making it to xbox live or the european psn?

Wahey, the penultimate screenshot looks epic :D

And is it just me, or is the monster in the last on a cross between the chainsaw maniacs in RE4 and a Big Daddy from BioShock?


I really can't wait for this to come out (around my birthday time too :D), just hope they don't turn it into a farce having made so many great games in the series so far :). Same goes for the cross-platform aspect.

Here's hoping they don't screw up the eventual PC port (once they've finished milking the console boys as with the previous games) with terrible gamepad-orientated controls, lack of graphics optimisation etc ala RE4 (apparently RE4 on PC has worse graphics than on the Wii, that's just poor), GTA IV…
