Thinner, lighter, shinier

A whole load of shots of the new PSP have popped up on Japanese website, www.famitsu.com.

They show Sony’s new style PSP against the old on and it looks sleeker, slimmer and shinier than the old one but still retains its overall screen size and width... more of makeover than the near complete redesign we saw with Ninty and the DS Lite.

Anyways, even though Famitsu is in Japanese, you can still head over there and enjoy the shots... there’s LOADS more than just these two.

I hope the old batteries fit the new version PSP, would be sweet if that was a case seeing as i recently bought a spare higher power battery.
It looks like the batteries are the same size. However, very strangely they have only included a 1200mAh battery, rather than the 1800mAh one in the old version. Thats how it looks in the pictures at least…

yep, there is something about the new psp that uses less power (screen possibly. cant remember was a while ago i read it). so thy have shrunk the battery down accordingly.
looks the same to me. i must be blind
Pretty poor compared to the change between DS and DS Lite, hardly noticed a thing there, I actually prefer the matte look of the old one (on the back, wish it was on the front too) because it doesn't show up the masses of smudges that get over it.
