The new style PSP, which will be 19 percent slimmer, 33 percent lighter and will boast faster UMD loading times as well as a new video-out port, will begin its assault on gamers with a Japanese launch on September 20th, priced at 19,800 yen (US$162 AU$185, £79). Sony did say that the new PSP would be released world-wide at approximately the same time, so we’re expecting an announcement shortly on both the US and European release dates.

The new PSP will come in the three basic colors of Piano Black, Ceramic White, and Ice Silver to meet a variety of preferences for all ages.

Take a look at the final specifications.

Wonder how much they'll actaully be charging when it gets to the UK?
I'm going to guess at £150
