PSP for £150!

Released on Wednesday 22nd March, the PSP base pack will retail at £149.99.

The marketing of the new base pack has been lost somewhat amidst the hype of the Playstation 3, but it offers good value if you compare it to the initial PSP value pack, £180 and the PSP Giga Pack, £215.

The box will contain just a PSP and a mains adaptor, unlike the huge Value Pack that launched with the hand-held.

You could wait for the PSP2 which should be with us by Christmas. It will be thinner, lighter, have 4 gig of memory and a camera.

The PSP was released back in Europe back in September 2005 and has currently sold over 15 million units.

That's a really good price. The second hand market for PSP's are fantastic at the moment. I just picked up a White PSP with two games and 1 GB memory card for £180 :)
Might have to wait a few more months months for the PSP2 myself, especially as the current game line up is good but not exactly amazing.
