The updated Nintendo DS Lite hits Europe’s gamers today after recent launches in Japan and the US.
Nintendo DS Lite is an improved version of the highly successful Nintendo DS, which has already been bought by more than 4.5 million people across Europe since its launch.
Available in any colour you like as long as its black or white, the DS Lite is slimmer, lighter and boasts improved backlit screens for play in daylight. It looks as if gamers are lovin’ the DS Lite as Nintendo claim its outselling the GBA SP launch in 2003 by 12%.
The DS Lite is complemented by some innovative new DS titles such as Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? which let’s you test your brain’s ability to do simple problems and with a just a few minutes play each day can improve your brain activity, responsiveness and concentration.
Also, for the first time since the SNES, Mario is coming back in a side-scrolling platformer, New SUPER MARIO BROS. which launches on 30th June 2006.
The Nintendo DS Lite will retail for around £100, the same price as the original Nintendo DS at launch.
