The first trailer showing off the new Nintendo DSi, which was announced earlier today, gives us a sneak peak at some of the games we can expect to appear on the handheld next Spring.

The trailer shows Mario & Luigi RPG, Phantasy Star Zero, MLB Power Pros, Chrono Trigger, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Professor Layton, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time, and Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor.

In addition to what you see here, there's also been confirmation of a fitness game that will incorporate a pedometer add-on. We can also expect a number of games that will utilise the handheld's internal camera.

Although they'll still be plenty of games that will be playable on both the DS and DSi, there will be some games that will be developed exclusively to take advantage of the new version's unique functions.
