Super Mario Galaxy (Nintendo Wii)
Last, but certainly not least is Super Mario Galaxy; a title that should be the top of every Wii owners list. It's an extraordinary game and our favourite game this year. It’s a magical experience that looks, sounds and plays magnificently. At its core it still has that old-school Mario feel, but the unique scenarios and level design, unshakable game mechanics, captivating audio and unique Wii-controls have been blended together seamlessly to create a dazzling gaming experience. If you like platformers, it doesn’t get better than this.
