Uncharted Drake’s Fortune (Playstation 3)Taking full advantage of the power of the PS3 this Tomb Raider-esque action adventure from the Crash Bandicoot boy throws you into a lifelike environment with realistic characters and a great storyline. It’s a mix of 3D platform gaming and third-person shooter, with the platforming elements similar to games such as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The game takes good advantage of the six axis controller allowing Nathan to jump, swim, grab and move along ledges, climb and swing from ropes, and other similar acrobatic actions to make his way along the ruins on the various islands that he explores.
Uncharted Drake’s Fortune is a solid and enjoyable adventure and one of the highlights in a turbulent year for the Playstation 3.

It’s been a huge year for next-generation consoles, but the Playstation 2 still continued to churn out some brilliant games. God of War 2 was one of the best with all-new brutal combat moves and magic and an emotional storyline.
The unique levels are exceptionally detailed and the unfolding story driven puzzles and numerous, epic boss make it an emotionally driven and powerful gaming experience.
God of War 2 isn’t just one of the best games of 2007, it’s one of the best action games of all-time. The bad news for PS2 fans is that the title has been billed as the last great game to appear on Playstation 2.
Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
Grab your flashbangs and prepare to break cover for the most intense and cinematic Call of Duty experience ever. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the best title in the series by a mile.
