Looking Closer - Front

Sitting pretty in stainless steel, the 8800 is a thing of beauty, of that there is no doubt.

The keypad for the phone is hidden under the front cover, and the counter weighted opening mechanism allows you to pop open the phone to reveal the usual button layout and central joystick.

The screen surface on the 8800 is much better in quality than any other current or previous Nokia handset, utilising sapphire glass technology, which means the scratch resistance on the screen is outstanding. This is especially good news considering the investment required to own an 8800.
