Come and have a go...
At the start of October ASRock, the value motherboard arm of ASUS, emailed HEXUS with the opinion that Gigabyte was using wasteful amounts of copper in some of its motherboards and that ASRock could produce better results with less copper.
Gigabyte responded reasonably dismissively but then subsequently subjected us to death by PowerPoint to demonstrate that it was the best.
Watching all this unfold has been MSI marketing chap Richard Stewart (pictured below at Computex 2008 with a couple of friends) and he reckons he could take the lot of ‘em. He contacted HEXUS to suggest we test an MSI P45 Platinum against the ASRock and Gigabyte offerings to see which is (literally) the coolest.
In other words he's calling out ASRock and Gigabyte and saying: "come and have a go if you think you're cool enough." ASRock must be wondering what it started.
