Buffalo strengthens its position in European NAS market with sales hires and increased channel focus
London, UK, 9 September 2013: Buffalo Technology today announces the appointment of Klaas de Vos, as the company's new Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new position de Vos will be responsible for leading the company's strategy, business growth and development.
With almost 20 years experience in the storage and solutions sector, de Vos, previously Senior Director European Sales at Buffalo now takes responsibility for leading the storage manufacturer's strategy, business growth and development. Buffalo is also bolstering its sales force for an increased focus on the channel, as well as providing a more diverse range of options for end users.
Buffalo's channel strategy has expanded to offer fully integrated business solutions to companies of all sizes. IP Camera Surveillance and dedicated Windows environments are examples of the cost-effective and high performing solutions available to both SMBs and enterprises.
Buffalo's channel push will enhance and simplify businesses' network and storage solutions, ensuring customers experience the highest level of flexibility and renowned reliability.
Before joining Buffalo, de Vos held various senior global positions within Western Digital, culminating in being Vice President and General Manager EMEA, covering 30% of the company's worldwide revenue. From his extensive experience de Vos brings specialised knowledge in sectors such as sales, channel, marketing and distribution.
