Computer giant Elonex have signed up Callstream call solutions to provide them with telephony solutions for their new offer with Carphone Warehouse.
Big Offer Tiny Laptop is the marketing campaign to give away Elonex’s new WEBBOOK when Carphone Warehouse customers sign up to their mobile broadband service.
The deal with Callstream, the leading provider of inbound telephony technology, will see them handle all calls made to the Elonex support desk, in the UK and internationally. The international dimension will include redirecting calls from Europe back to the UK.
Nick Smith, CEO of Elonex says “as we are offering multilingual support throughout Europe for Carphone Warehouse we needed a telecoms provider that could handle all the calls from various countries. We are taking support calls from Portugal, Spain, Sweden, France, Ireland and UK and they are all handled centrally and transferred to Elonex’s 24 hour support centre in Cape Town, South Africa.”
Mark Drury, MD of Callstream says, “Even though the calls are transferred around the world, the consumer is only paying a local rate in country of call, and this routing is transparent to the caller offering a great customer experience.”
As all calls to the help desk are handled at network level, this means call routing is handled more efficiently and the financial outlay for updating hardware is reduced. Having really understood the needs of their business and the demands of their marketplace, Callstream have been able to maximise efficiencies by providing a bespoke telephony solution for Elonex.
