VIP Computer Centre Ltd (VIP), the UK’s leading independent distributor of computer components and peripherals, today announced it is now stocking Thermaltake’s latest liquid cooling case, the Thermaltake Xaser VI, hailed as the Godfather of all chassis.
An upgraded version of the Xaser III, the next-generation Xaser VI is available through VIP in Silver/Black (VIP Order Code: 183195) and Black/Red (VIP Order Code: 172084) colour options. Both models showcase components through a feature window on the side panel and the 40%+ metal grill opening offers improved airflow, aiding the liquid cooling system.
The full tower Xaser VI certainly looks the part with its eye-catching appearance, stylised X-shaped power button and mechanical push open I/O cover. Its design has been optimised for liquid and air cooling, and is sufficiently spacious for component upgrades. With a sliding hood on top, maintenance is less of a hassle with easy access to the liquid cooling system.
Packed full of features, the Xaser VI has fourteen drive bays, ten expansion slots designed for quad-graphic card configuration and supports motherboards right up to extended-ATX. Its cable management system ensures internal components and cables are kept clean and tidy, whilst enabling air to circulate freely. In addition to the liquid cooling system, the components also benefit from a top mounted 140mm and rear 120mm fan with blue LED.
The essence of the chassis is user focused, maximising gaming time and minimising installation with a sliding motherboard tray, adjustable PSU bridge and tool-free 5.25 device.
