Martin Port from Masternaut Three X - a vehicle and asset tracking firm providing mobile workforce apps running on powerful data technology - told HEXUS his business was "absolutely reliant on the best technology" which was why, he said, he had chosen Dell.
"Dell has worked with us, along with Microsoft, to find us tailor-made, unique solutions for the kinds of challenges we face" he said.
Just one of the uses for Masternaut Three X's tech is in helping firms reduce their environmental impact. Masternaut offers a tool called "GreenerFleet" to allow businesses to monitor and therefore reduce its carbon footprint by collating each and every piece of data from its vehicles.
Port said his company's vision was a clear one, namely "to save our customers money."
"With Dell's support, we can become the world's biggest vehicle tracking company," he said.
