Review: Cyberpower Luxe Xtreme

Intel's Core i7-6950X is an interesting beast. The deca-core chip is routinely outpaced by the considerably cheaper Core i7-6700K in single-threaded benchmarks that rely heavily on peak frequency, hence the Luxe Xtreme's lowly positioning in the PiFast test.

But the chip really comes into its own in multi-threaded workloads, where the 10 cores and 20 threads begin to strut their stuff. Heck, the Luxe Xtreme is over 50 per cent faster than any system we've tested using Cinebench.
